Viagra Connect Tablets (50mg)

Overview

Viagra Connect is the over the counter version of Viagra which means Viagra Connect can be bought without a prescription.

Viagra connect contains the same active ingredient as Viagra called Sildenafil. Viagra and generic Sildenafil require a prescription from one of our prescribers, all medication ordered from us requires a short, 2-minute questionnaire (including over the counter medication like Viagra connect). Viagra connect works by increasing blood flow to the penis allowing for an erection in adult men. It should be taken one hour before intercourse, Viagra connect will be effective for 4-6 hours. How it works

Viagra Connect contains sildenafil, which works by inhibiting phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in the penis. During sexual arousal, nitric oxide is released, which activates the production of cGMP. This substance relaxes smooth muscles and increases blood flow to create an erection.

By blocking PDE5, Viagra Connect prevents the breakdown of cGMP, enhancing blood flow to the penis when sexually stimulated. The medication typically works within 30-60 minutes and its effects last for about 4-5 hours.

The active substance is Sildenafil.

The other ingredients are Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate (anhydrous), croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate Film coat: hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), lactose, triacetin and indigo carmine aluminium lake (E 132)
