Always use Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has directed. If you are unsure, check with them. The following instructions explain how to use Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel in different situations
- Children (from 4 months) – Massage a pea sized amount of Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel onto the sore area, once every 3 hours and not more. Do not apply Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel more than 6 times in 24 hours.
- Adults – Massage around 1cm of Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel onto the sore area, and not more than once every 3 hours.
- Orthodontic devices – Apply Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel to the sore area, using the correct amount as described above and not more than once every 3 hours.
- Denture irritation – Apply Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel to the gums and leave it for 30 minutes before re-inserting dentures. Do not apply Bonjela Soothing Teething Gel directly to the dentures.

Ingredients
The active ingredients are choline salicylate 8.714% w/w and cetalkonium chloride 0.01% w/w. The other ingredients are ethanol, glycerol, levomenthol, hypromellose 4500, star anise oil (d-Limonene, anisyl alcohol, linalool), saccharin sodium and purified water.
