About the product

Eurax Cream contains crotamiton, a soothing treatment used to relieve itching (pruritus) caused by skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, stings, and allergic rashes. It works by calming irritation and providing a cooling, anti-itch effect, helping to reduce the urge to scratch and allowing the skin to heal. Eurax Cream can also be used to treat scabies when applied over the whole body as directed. It is usually applied to the affected area two to three times daily for itching, or according to medical advice for scabies treatment. Suitable for adults and children over three years old.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Eurax Cream is crotamiton 10% w/w.

The other ingredients are methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), phenylethyl alcohol, glycerol, triethanolamine, sodium lauryl sulphate, ethylene glycol monostearate, stearyl alcohol, strong ammonia solution, stearic acid, hard paraffin, white beeswax, purified water and perfume (contains: geraniol, citronellol, coumarin, benzyl alcohol (0.0187%), benzyl benzoate (0.0047%), citral, d-limonene, eugenol, linalool).

Warnings

You should not use Eurax Cream:

if you are allergic to crotamiton or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
if you have a weeping skin condition (acute exudative dermatoses)
